Massage Prices
& Small Print

Each massage is tailored to suit your needs. We clarify and agree on a your desired outcome at the beginning of each session. You may know exactly what you kind of treatment you want, but more often than not we “mix and match” to tailor a suitable treatment to you.

For this reason I charge the same hourly rate, £36, for all treatments, except MLD (See below).

Ideally, I would recommend initially having 4 weekly sessions because your body needs this time to get the most from the massages. To make this easier for you I have a reduced rate of £125 if you choose to have 4, weekly, one hour sessions (payment is at the first session). This works out at just over £31 a session.

If you commit to 8 sessions you can take them over a three month period for £250 (payment is in advance). This again works out at £31.25 a session but you can spread the sessions out over a longer period.

An hour treatment time seems to work fine for many people, but

You can also have a different session length.

I offer...

• 70 minutes for £41
• 1.5 hours for £52 and
• 2 hours for £67.

A half hour treatment costs £26 and a 45 minute treatment £31.

For most treatments the length of the session is dependent on your preference, obviously the longer the session, the more massage you get. Some treatments work best for a longer time period, for example a full session of Aromatherapy Lymphatic Massage takes 70-90 minutes. If you are not sure which length of time would suit you best then please contact me and I will be happy to discuss it with you.

All treatments are available as a gift voucher. You can send me a cheque and I post out the voucher to the precipitant.

How to pay

Most people pay by cash or cheque. There are two cash machines nearby.

Alternatively, you can pay by PayPal . This an ideal way to pay for gift vouchers.

You can also pay by bank transfer or by standing order. If you choose the latter option I will guarantee the same price for at least one year (I normally increase my charges by £1 every year).

Treatment for Lymphoedema and MLD

For the treatment of lymphoedema I will usually work in conjunction with your GP and/or consultant or other health care professional. This is a specialist service suitable for people with lymphoedema, swellings after injuries, or pre-and operatively (see main text). Sometimes it can be claimed back from Private Medical Insurance or the NHS.

The charge for this service is a minimum of £45 per hour.

Please contact me for more information. In addition to the treatment price you may also need bandages and compression hosiery. These are available either on prescription or can be purchased privately.

The small print

I need you to agree to the following:

• I consent to having massage /Manual Lymph Drainage/ Lymphoedema treatment.
• I understand that the treatment is no substitute for medical advice.
• I will let the practitioner know immediately if I feel uncomfortable at any time during the session.
• I authorise the practitioner to contact my GP/consultant regarding the treatment (particularly for lymphoedema treatment).
• I will give complete and accurate medical and other relevant information and I will inform the practitioner of any changes.
• I understand that if I cancel a session less than 48 hours prior to the start of the session I am liable for the full fee, unless negotiated otherwise.
• For massage clients: I agree to focus on Breathing, Feeling and Releasing.
• I understand that there is no guarantee that the outcomes will be met.

Appointment times

My normal hours are 9am to 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday. I have some evening appointments available.

My practice is a short bus ride away from Nottingham City Centre with one minute walk from the bus stop. I offer secure bicycle parking. There is on-street car parking and a public car park. For the car park there is a charge of £1 payable at a machine.
