This is what I found useful and/or inspiring. I have also listed some, mostly local, businesss, generally people I rate highly. It is work in progress. I have loads I need to put on, but fortunately I am very busy at work at the moment.

There is a link page relating to pregnancy massage and there is also an information page regarding Lymphoedema and Manual Lymphatic Drainage.

We are following government instructions on physical distancing so we can't see clients at the moment.

We are now offering on-line sessions. We can do everything apart from the actual treatment on-line, obviously virtual touch is not quite the same. We can cover self-help techniques, such as stretches and self-massage. Many issues are eased by a chat and a few stretches.

Check out Touching Well's top tips.

Keep in touch (metaphorically).

Stay safe. With warm regards, Regina

Castor oil

Castor oil is derived from the tree of Palma Christi (Ricinus cummunis). It has been used therapeutically as a folk remedy in India, China, Persia, Africa, Greece, Rome and in the Americas. Edgar Cayce, a medical intuitive known as the "sleeping prophet" introduced castor oil packs for many conditions. Castor oil packs are recommended in Arvigo therapy for healing, relaxation, scar treatment and much more.

Other therapies

Chris Dowson is a caring and knowledgeable therapist. He uses Zero Balancing to address physical problems, which, in his experience, often have emotional and/or psychological elements to them. He is a qualified McTimoney Chiropractor and a  third degree black belt in Lau Gar Kung Fu.

Some people have a number of health issues which don't seem to be addressed within the NHS. They may need some detective work to find out what is going on, and how to go forward from there. In my experience Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) can help along the way. TCM uses a completely different frame work (which sounds gobbledygook to us uninitiated), and so may shine a new light on the health concerns. Here are two recommendations, firstly Andrew Kemp from the Grange. He is an experienced practitioner, and also prescribes Chinese herbs. Secondly, Dr Carolyn Eddlestone, a private GP and acupuncturist in Leicestershire (Barrow Upon Soar).

A nutritionalist recommended by a client is Heather Lee on 01159333698 or 07770826640.
