If MLD has not been a successful treatment option for upper extremity lymph edema can the kinesiology tape strategy still work?
Regina writes
There has been a study in 2009 that Kinesio tape could replace bandages in lymphoedema therapy. (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19199105). But that was not your question.
I assume that you are wearing compression, do some exercises and care for your skin, and have tried MLD without much success.
I personally think that taping is certainly worth a try. It is an easy. complortable and relatively cheap therapy, as it can be applied by a "lay" person after instruction.
Have you tried MLD with Deep Oscillation?
