Pregnancy Massage

by Emily
(Newark, UK)

I started going to Regina when I was 25 weeks pregnant with my second baby. I was suffering with hip pain which was similar to, but much worse than in my previous pregnancy. The massage lasted for an hour and covered my bump, shoulders and back, and hips and thighs. Even though I didn't really go for anything other than my hips, I found the other areas really beneficial and left feeling relaxed and revitalised. Regina took my medical and pregnancy history and was very thorough in her approach. I wasn't uncomfortable during the session - something that might well be a concern for a heavily pregnancy lady - since there was only a short time on my back and then time spent lying on each side.
My hip pain was much better in the week after the massage and when I next saw Regina, the tension in the problem area had improved. I am still going for a massage every fortnight to keep the hip pain under control and for the benefits to my whole body!
